The world still expects “professional” to mean buttoned-up, watered-down, and painted beige.
But that could never be you.
(Or at least... not you when you're actually calling the shots)
That’s also not the kind of podcast that draws your people in.
Personally, I think it’s pretty fucking rad that what used to make us weird as kids is exactly what makes us cool as hell now.
Perfect justice for us former nerds, don't you think??
Just like you, I’m a creative, multi-passionate person who could never be bothered to choke myself with society's expectations of me.
And I know how to get your show launched and thriving without compromising the qualities that make you so damn interesting.
I created Wildwave Podcasting so you wouldn’t have to choose:
Between sharing your message and protecting your peace.
Or between building a values-aligned brand and getting PAID.
Between expression and visibility.
Ever since the beginning, truly. I was fully homeschooled until high school (I have the socially-awkward battle scars to prove it).
I’m happily childfree by choice, but a nurturing mother to 2 cats (say hi, Pretzel & Crunch!).
Every weekend is a constant battle between the desire to go hermit mode under a big fluffy blanket and play Zelda games, and the equally-strong desire to suit up and go disappear into the crowds at some live music function, grooving all night long with my earplugs in😎
I stumbled into the podcasting space by accident (really I just wanted to move out of my parents’ house at the beginning of the pandemic, and podcast editing was the quickest service I could do for that cash money… you know how it is).
But now I’m obsessed with the entire podcasting process, and watching my clients literally BLOSSOM as they move through it.
I’ve fully produced literally thousands of shows at this point, from the polished and corporate to the magically woo-woo. I've seen it all.
In the 5 years that I've been working on the backend of podcasts, I've learned a shit ton about what works, and what doesn’t.
What they need even more than that is a holistic support system – technical, creative, strategic, and emotional – even (and especially) when they're feeling like burning it all down.
Through the ups and downs, I’ve got the plan (and the playlist!) to keep you in your flow.
I know that podcasters need more than just their basic to-dos taken care of to be successful (although make no mistake: they WILL be taken care of).
Together, we’ll birth & build a podcast that captures what you’re about and evolves with you - personally and professionally.
Because I understand that to become impactful leaders through business and our creative pursuits, we all need to have high standards for the way we consume information, process it, and disseminate it. Everything in our world is connected, and nothing exists in a vacuum.
We can't show up as ourselves fully in the world without a deep understanding of who we are internally. Living in an "authentic" way requires an alignment of the values we wish to live by, from the way that we talk to ourselves to the way that we treat others.
Because finding your voice is a radical act in and of itself. Truth-telling takes courage, and self-expression creates freedom. I pull from the origins of rave culture as a safe haven for marginalized voices, and bring a similar sense of safety and autonomy into the way we create and share your work.
